2. Activation furnace. The appearance is similar to the carbonization furnace, but the role in the carbonization furnace is different, and the activated carbon can be heated to a higher temperature.

Production process of coal-based activated carbon
1. Production process of raw coal crushing activated carbon. It is a relatively simple production process in the production of coal-based activated carbon, with low production cost and low equipment investment. This process uses raw coal of qualified particle size as raw material, and directly produces through carbonization and activation to obtain crushed amorphous granular activated carbon.
2. Activated carbon molding process. Unlike the process of raw coal crushing activated carbon, the production process of molded activated carbon requires the raw coal to be made into a certain shape by molding granulation before production. Its main processes include raw coal crushing, granulation, carbonization and activation. According to the shape of the molding granulation, the production process of molded activated carbon can be divided into columnar activated carbon production process, briquette activated carbon production process and spherical activated carbon production process.
3. Production process of powdered activated carbon. Usually, powdered coal-based activated carbon is produced as a by-product of other types of activated carbon. When produced alone, the lump raw coal should be crushed and screened into raw coal powder of qualified particle size according to the production process requirements, and then carbonized and activated into powdered activated carbon.
