Description

  Bamboo species such as moso bamboo, Phyllostachys, and reed bamboo, as well as bamboo scraps, bamboo shavings, and other waste materials, can all be processed into bamboo charcoal powder using a bamboo shavings carbonization furnace. Bamboo shavings can be directly carbonized, while larger pieces of bamboo such as bamboo culms and bamboo scraps need to be first crushed to around 2 centimeters before they can be carbonized. The resulting bamboo charcoal powder can be utilized in the production of barbecue charcoal, shisha charcoal, activated charcoal, and more.

 

  A continuous carbonization furnace machine is an ideal apparatus for high-yield carbonization of carbon-containing woody materials such as straw, rice husks, sawdust, bran, wheat, wood chips, fruit shells, peanut shells, bark, etc. (with particle sizes below 15mm) under high-temperature, oxygen-free conditions within a furnace.

The continuous carbonization machine employs advanced technology for the recovery and purification of combustible gases, including carbon monoxide, methane, and oxygen, generated during the carbonization process. This includes the utilization of a closed-loop combustion system. This technology not only addresses the issue of environmental pollution caused by dense smoke from conventional carbonization furnaces but also resolves the thermal energy requirements of the equipment.

The main unit of the carbonization furnace consists of a feeding mechanism, inner and outer cylinders, cold charcoal discharge, insulation layer, and combustion chamber. The material enters the inner cylinder through the feeding mechanism, where the temperature is relatively lower compared to the outer cylinder. This initial stage aids in the pre-drying and warming up of the material. As the cylinder rotates, the material moves into the outer cylinder with a higher temperature. In this outer layer, the material undergoes anaerobic distillation and carbonization, transforming into finished charcoal. Finally, through the rotation of the cylinder, the charcoal is conveyed to the cold charcoal discharge unit for the subsequent cooling and charcoal extraction process.

  • In most cases, the carbonization furnace does not require additional dye heating except during the preheating stage. The heating needs for carbonization are met solely through the recovery and utilization of combustible gases generated during the carbonization process.
  • Remote monitoring and control of the system, including startup and shutdown, can be achieved through a PLC control system.
